On 9th August 2024, St. Anthony's Secondary School celebrated St. Clare's Day with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event was organized to honor St. Clare of Assisi, known for her deep spirituality and commitment to poverty and service.The celebrations began with a speech delivered by Yukti Choudhary of class X who eloquently spoke about the life and virtues of St. Clare. She emphasized the saint's unwavering faith, her dedication to helping the poor, and her role as a pioneer for women in the Church. The speech inspired the students to follow in the footsteps of St. Clare by embodying humility, compassion, and service in their daily lives. Following the speech, a skit was performed by the students of Class IX. The skit dramatized significant moments from the life of St. Clare, including her decision to leave her wealthy family to follow St. Francis of Assisi and her miraculous defense of the San Damiano convent from invaders. The students' performances were both engaging and heartfelt, capturing the essence of St. Clare’s faith and courage. The celebration concluded with a song performed by the school choir. The choir sang a song dedicated to St. Clare, praising her for her purity, faith, and dedication to Christ.
