GANDHI JAYANTI

On October 3rd 2023 ,the students of St.Anthony's Secondary School came together to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event was organized by Peacock House and featured various activities that paid homage to the life and ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.The celebration commenced with a speech delivered by 9th-grade student. The speech highlighted the significance of Gandhi Jayanti, emphasizing Mahatma Gandhi's principles of truth, non-violence, and civil disobedience.Following the speech, the stage was set for an engaging quiz which was conducted by the 5th-grade students. The quiz questions were thoughtfully crafted to test the knowledge of the students about Mahatma Gandhi's life and his philosophies .The celebration took a creative turn when the 4th-grade students depicted key incidents from Mahatma Gandhi's life. The Gandhi Jayanti celebration was a meaningful reminder of the values that Gandhiji stood for and inspired the students and staff to reflect on how these values can be incorporated into their daily lives.In conclusion, the Gandhi Jayanti celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the Father of the Nation,emphasizing the importance of Gandhian principles in our lives.
