A seminar on National Education Policy was conducted 21/9/23 by Joby Sir and Neha Ma'am.The seminar aimed to provide an in-depth understanding of the various aspects of the NEP of India. The seminar began with an exploration of the curriculum domains as outlined in the NEP, emphasizing the importance of a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to education. It also highlighted the significance of language in the NEP and how it promotes multilingualism. The resource persons discussed the focus on cognitive skills in the NEP, encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities among students. The seminar delved into the nurturing of social, emotional, and personal skills to ensure well-rounded development and emotional intelligence among learners. They also elaborated on the five pillars of the NEP, which are Access, Equity, Quality, Affordability, and Accountability, emphasizing the need for these pillars to be central to education policies.The seminar concluded with a question and answer session, allowing teachers to seek clarification on various aspects of the NEP.
