St Clare's Day

St Clare's day was celebrated on 11 August by students of Peacock house. Clare of Assisi was an Italian saint and one of the first followers of Francis of Assissi.Inspired by the teachings of St.Francis she founded a monastic religious order for women in the Franciscan tradition.To celebrate the feast of patron saint St. Clare a short programme was put up which included a speech by Kritika of class VIII A and a small skit depicting the life and teachings of St. Clare by students of class -VI ,VIII and IX.
