"Language is the road map of a culture. It tells you where its people come from and where they are going." By Rita Mae Brown English Language week was celebrated in the school from 24th July to 3rd August 2023. The goal of English Language week is to create an on-going celebration of this global and constantly evolving language. People strive to learn and study in English because it is the language of instruction at many good schools around the world. The Morning assembly is the best mode of instruction to the whole school. Students of Class I & II participated in Poem Recitation, Class III depicted a role play on parts of speech, Class IV and V showcased their talents in the form of a role play on collective nouns and enactment of story with morals. The senior classes put up a show on words often mis-pronounced, speech and poem recitation. Daily a new word was read out in the assembly through ‘The Word of the Day’, along with the meaning and sentences were framed from it. All in all, the participants and the audience thoroughly enjoyed the give and take of information, during the week.
